If you did not know, this summer the Physics Department has been fielding a softball team, called The Wild Bohrs, in the Champaign Parks League. For the last few months we have been playing two games every Wednesday night and have been having a lot of fun. This week is our last game for the season. To celebrate, the PGSA would like to invite everyone to come out and support the team!
We play a double header tomorrow (Wed 24th) from 6:00-8:00 pm at Dodd Park - Field 3 (1501 N. Mattis in Champaign).
After the games (around 8:30-9:00) we will migrate to downtown Champaign to the Blind Pig Brewery for a few drinks.
Finally I would like to thank Head Coach/Team Manager Barbara Stekas and Associate Head for Graduate Physics Lance Cooper for helping put this team together. They were crucial to making this team a reality.
