PGSA Picnic Canceled!!
Due to inclement weather, the PGSA has decided to postpone the Spring Picnic to a nicer day.

Spring Picnic – Open PGSA Meeting – Happy Hour Extravaganza
Hey everyone,
I just want to take this opportunity to inform you of several events coming up over the next week or so.
First on Sunday April 29th at 12:30pm the PGSA will be having its spring picnic. The picnic will be held in the southwest corner of Crystal Lake Park (near the intersection of McCoullough and W Park Streets behind Carle Hospital). The PGSA will provide hamburgers, hot dogs, veggie burgers, drinks, and chips. Feel free to bring a side dish or a dessert if you wish to. You are also in charge of bringing the FUN! So bring any sports, games, cards, or other fun activities with you.
Additionally next Thursday May 3rd the PGSA will be hosting an open meeting. The meeting will be held in the Grad Lounge (Sub-basement of ESB) at 8:00pm. We will discuss future events, including summer plans, and overall plans for next year. If you have ideas for activities, are interested in becoming involved in the PGSA, or just want to learn more about what we do, feel free to join us. We would love all of your input.
Finally next Friday May 4th, the PGSA will be hosting an end of the semester Happy Hour Extravaganza. The Happy Hour will take place at Crane Alley in Urbana starting at 6:30pm. Look for us to the right as you walk into the bar. We have invited post docs and faculty members, as well as the grad students to this event. As always there will be free appetizers (courtesy of the PGSA) on a first-come first-served basis. Come out for a night of food, drinks, and good company!
